There are many tasks to complete before construction can start on your new home. We work together during this stage to ensure that the building process goes smoothly once it starts.

1. Get Pre-Approved By an MB Preferred Lender

Ask about our preferred lender incentive program.

2. Pick your Lot, Pick your Plan

Choose one of our plans that are special designed to fit the lots within our MB communities.

3. Make Appointment W/ Sales Consultant

Let our MB Developments team member start you on your journey to a new home.

4. Choose Interior / Exterior Pallets

Pick your lighting packages, cabinet hardware, ​and other interior finishes.

5. Customer Options Sheet

This is one more tool we offer in letting you customize your MB home.

6. Approve MB Contract Documents

Sign MB documents and deliver non-refundable deposit and upgrade checks.
Construction Process

Construction Process

Now that selections have been made and paperwork has been finalized, you get to see your home take shape as construction begins! No additional changes to your home can be made once the construction process is underway.

7. Plans and Permits

Your home plans are customized by our MB design team and sent off to city permitting.

8. Site Work

Four corners are marked and form material is delivered.

9. Slab

Sign MB documents and deliver non-refundable deposit and upgrade checks.

10. Framing

Framing gives your MB home support and shape.

11. Rough Ins

Your MB home’s internal parts, plumbing, electrical and HVAC are installed.

12. Initial Inspections and Quality Control

Your MB home is inspected by city inspectors and our own State Certified home inspector.

13. Drywall, Cabinets and Trim

Walls are closed up and the home takes shape and shows off its spaces.

14. Paint

Your eye for design comes to life.

15. Power Ready

Your MB home is now alive and has electricity.

16. Interior Finishes

Granite countertops and your backsplash, along with ceramic tile and wood laminate flooring are installed.

17. Final Trimouts

Your MB home is nearing completion! All wood trim, door hardware, appliances and plumbing fixtures are installed.

It's the final stretch! After final orientation you will close on your loan and get the keys to your new home!

18. Final Inspection

Your MB home is ready for another quality control and city inspections.

19. First Walkthrough

Meet with one of our MB project managers to walk your home and review the project.

20. Final Orientation

Our MB project manager will confirm with you that the home is ready and teach you how to operate your new home.

21. Settlement & Closing

It’s time to sign your final documents and close on your loan. You are now an owner of a Manuel Builders home!
