Giving Back to the Teachers Who Give So Much
As the new school year gets closer, we know teachers are busy getting their classrooms ready for another amazing year. While many people are shopping for school supplies, teachers are also spending their own money to make sure their students have everything they need to succeed.
At Manuel Builders Texas, we believe teachers deserve to be celebrated for everything they do, not just during the school year, but all year long.
That's why we're so excited to bring back our Teacher Wishlist Giveaway!
This year, we'll be selecting five teachers from Montgomery, Waller, Grimes, Walker, Liberty, and San Jacinto counties to receive up to $200 toward their Amazon Classroom Wishlists.
Why We Started This Giveaway
Building homes is what we do, but building strong communities is just as important to us.
Teachers have such an incredible impact on the families and communities we serve. They encourage, inspire, and invest so much in their students every single day. We also know that many teachers spend hundreds of dollars out of their own pockets each year to create a fun, welcoming classroom.
This giveaway is simply our way of saying thank you.
It may seem like a small gesture, but we hope it helps take a little stress off their shoulders as they prepare for another school year.
Who Can Participate?
Teachers who work at schools located in the following counties are eligible:
Teachers are welcome to enter themselves, or friends, family members, parents, students, and community members can nominate a teacher they admire.
How to Enter
Entering is easy!
Entries close Friday, July 31 at 12:00 PM (Noon).
One of Our Favorite Traditions
Last year was our very first Teacher Wishlist Giveaway, and it quickly became one of our favorite community events.
Getting to meet the teachers, hear about their classrooms, and help check a few things off their wishlists was something our team will not forget. Seeing how excited they were, and knowing those supplies would also benefit their students, made it even more meaningful.
We are so excited to continue this tradition and meet this year's winners!
